Following are the types of Debit Card that are offered by SBI:

State Bank Classic Debit Card: You can use this card for shopping or purchasing items at all the selected retail outlets of India wherever Master cards are accepted. You can also withdraw a maximum amount of Rs 40000 at ATMs.

State Bank Gold International Debit Card: As the name of the card suggests this a type Gold card that is mainly used by the NRE account holders. Using this card you can withdraw a maximum of Rs 50000 and a maximum of Rs 100000 at the merchant outlets.

SBI Yuva International Debit Card: This card is exclusively made for youngsters aged from 18 to 30 years who has an account with the bank. You can withdraw a maximum amount of Rs 50000 at the ATMs. The card can be used this card for making online purchases from the ecommerce websites, pay bills, withdrawing cash from any of the ATMs and also recharge your mobile.

State Bank Platinum International Debit Card: You can use this card to enjoy cashless shopping. You can use this card to maintain a balance of Rs 20000 every quarter. By using this card you can earn 4 freedom reward points by making a purchase of Rs. 100. A charge of Rs. 300 is levied for getting issued this International Debit Card.

State Bank Silver International Debit Card: With the help of this card you can shop at more than five lakh merchant outlets and over thirty million retail outlets. The card can also be used for booking movie tickets, making bill payments, paying for travel and also for payment for online purchases.

SBI Debit Card Loyalty Program

SBI has introduced a loyalty program for its debit card holders known as Freedom Rewards. Under this program you can earn rewards when you purchase anything using the SBI Debit Card. If you want to enjoy the benefits of this program then you will have to enroll yourself and apply online in to the Loyalty program by filling an online application form. You can enroll yourself by visiting the website www.FreedomRewardz.com or by calling at the number 6000-8500/1-800-209-8500 from Monday to Saturday between 9 AM to 9 PM and on Sunday from 9 AM to 6 PM. You can redeem the Freedom Rewards with the freedom points to get FREE gifts, merchandise, personalized products, Airline tickets, Entertainment products, Electronic items, Fashion & Beauty products, Music and Sports products. Please remember that you need to redeem the freedom points after three years otherwise the points will expire.

SBI Debit Card Customer Care

SBI Debit card helpline can be contacted to change details; latest discount offers on international debit cards, redemption of reward points or for any other queries complaints and feedback. Lost or stolen cards can be reported by speaking with any of the available customer care representatives to block the lost card at SBI toll free customer care phone numbers 1800-112211 or 18004253800 and in return will receive a lost complaint number. Incase your debit card gets blocked or damaged; customers can report and make a request for unblocking it at SBI customer care. New cards are issued to the customers within few days after the deactivation of previous card at Rs.200 and customers can track application status by calling call center.
