The wide network of 26000 ATMs all over India has replaced all the long queues in the banks and has brought more flexibility in the banking transactions allowing you to do balance transfer, get a mini statement of your account, check the status of your account and many more. The most important reason why people opt for the SBI ATM is that the bank does not charge any separate fee for using this service as there are no yearly charges. The ATMs accept not only the State Bank Credit Card but also the cards that are issued by other banks displaying the Maestro, Master Card, Cirrus, VISA and VISA Electron logos.

For the convenience of the customers State Bank of India has come out with the SBI ATM Locator. The SBI ATM locator helps you to locator the nearest ATM in your area. You can visit the website of the bank and make use of the locator. It is very easy to use as you will only have to select your state and you will get the details.

Following are the benefits of using the SBI ATM:

1. Cash can be withdrawn anytime from over 26000 ATM groups. Not only this, money can even be withdrawn from 40000 ATMs of the other banks like Bank of Rajasthan Ltd. Canara Bank, Corporation Bank, Dena Bank, HDFC Bank, ICICI Bank, Indian Bank, IndusInd Bank, Punjab National Bank, UCO Bank and Union Bank of India.

2. You can also recharge your prepaid mobile phones using this card.

You can apply for using the ATM services of the bank by filling up an application form after downloading it from the website of the bank, filling it up and depositing it to the nearest SBI branch or you can also make an online application.

SBI ATM Money Transfer



Before making a SBI card to card money transfer through the ATM you must have your debit card and the card number of the beneficiary with yourself. Once you have these two things with yourself then you can easily transfer money by following the simple steps given below:

Step-1: Visit any of the State Bank of India and swipe your debit card.

Step-2: Choose the transfer option at the bottom right side of your ATM screen, enter the PIN number of your Debit Card and select the card to card transfer.

Step-3: Enter the 19 digit Debit card number of the beneficiary along with the transferable amount.

Step-4: Select the type of account either Savings or Checking from which you want to transfer the amount.

You can transfer a maximum of Rs 15000 per transaction and a maximum of Rs 30000 per day. However, the maximum withdrawal limit per day from the SBI ATM is Rs.40000. Please remember that your transaction may be declined due to reasons like wrong password and PIN number entry and a message wrong password may appear on your ATM screen and your ATM card may be blocked. In this situation you will have to inform the customer care department regarding the same.

You can receive ATM Card helpline to report your lost or stolen card by calling at the customer care toll free number 1800 112211, 1800-4253800. if you have any difficulty in locating the ATM or unfortunately atm cash not received, in such a case you can contact the customer care at above numbers and make complaints.
